Since 2001, ITSLIQUID Group has organized over 350 international events, engaging more than 10,000 artists across over 60 global venues. Its initiatives have featured prestigious museums like the CCCB – Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona in Spain, the NCCA – National Center for Contemporary Arts in Moscow, the MuMo – Museum Montanelli in Prague, and at the MUST Museum in Lecce, in addition to numerous galleries and private foundations. The word “canvas” was used for the first time in Italy in the 14th century, and it has become the most common support medium for oil painting, replacing wooden panels. Canvas is the creatives’ common ground, on which they can express themselves. BODYSPACES is about the perception of our body, the first step for the appropriation of our identity. The bodies are the spaces for human experimentation, for the achievement of humanity and its overtaking. The contemporary bodies are composed of corporal and virtual elements influenced by physical and psychical actions. The artistic work on the body’s hybridisation will create a new concept of humanity starting any kind of possible life in a contemporary multicultural society. ITSLIQUID Group is pleased to announce the open call for the 16th edition of ROME INTERNATIONAL ART FAIR 2025, an international exhibition of photography, painting, video art, installation/sculpture and performance art, which will take place in Rome, at ITSLIQUID Art Space – Rome from September 19 to October 02, 2025. Since 2001, ITSLIQUID Group has organized over 350 international events, engaging more than 10,000 artists across over 60 global venues. Its initiatives have featured prestigious museums like the CCCB – Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona in Spain, the NCCA – National Center for Contemporary Arts in Moscow, the MuMo – Museum Montanelli in Prague, and at the MUST Museum in Lecce, in addition to numerous galleries and private foundations. Thanks to its partnership with Sedition, ITSLIQUID has presented masters such as Bill Viola and Refik Anadol, offering high-level opportunities for young, mid-career, and renowned artists. ROME INTERNATIONAL ART FAIR 2025 analyses the relationship between body and space, and the hybridisation between identities and cultural/physical/social/urban settings in contemporary times, through two main sections: MIXING IDENTITIES and FUTURE LANDSCAPES. MIXING IDENTITIES analyses the hidden parts of our identities through an immersive experience inside the fascinating universe of the complex labyrinths of our consciousness. The human body is a changing system that connects us with other bodies and spaces to perceive the surrounding reality; a strong communication system with its own language and infinite ways of expression. FUTURE LANDSCAPES are abstract, infinite and conceptual, associated with a sense of freedom and infinite extension. Primarily experienced with the mind, spaces redefine their limits and borders, transforming surfaces into an open flow of pure ideas. This section focuses on the concept of the borders and the structures between body, mind and soul, the human identity and the city, the space and the ground.
